Big session at Hove. Sailed from 4 til 7pm almost non-stop apart from a late change down to 4m sail at 6:15pm. Up until then the 4.5m had been bang on for charging out over 20 lines of breaking waves including some very decent lumps out there. For me the best rides were right out beyond everything, sail out until you found a big one and then gybe in and straight down the line, getting in the straps as you go. Or head upwind into the sun until a biggy loomed up ahead. Probably 6-8ft faces, with some big peaky bits. Had some absolute gems. Then you could recover the big down wind loss by angling hard up the line past exploding peaks on the inside. Repeat 'til darkness. One wave every run out, and then got stuck in a "just one more wave" routine until I couldnt see.
